Subjectivity
Subjectivity is a science fiction novella by Norman Spinrad, written in the early 1960s. It examines the psychological effects of a sixteen-year space mission undertaken by a crew of ten flawed individuals aboard the starship Number Thirteen. As they experiment with a hallucinogenic drug called Omnidrene to cope with the stresses of isolation, their shared hallucinations lead to a breakdown of reality, culminating in a chaotic confrontation with their own minds.
