Six Characters in Search of an Author

Luigi Pirandello's meta-theatrical masterpiece throws a wrench into the very act of performance. An acting company, dutifully rehearsing another Pirandello play, finds their stage hijacked by six enigmatic figures claiming to be unfinished characters in search of an author to bring their tragic story to life. What ensues is a dizzying battle of wills and realities, as the bewildered Manager grapples with the 'characters'' desperate plea to exist, blurring the lines between the actors' assumed roles and the raw, unscripted drama unfolding before them. Is it madness, or a profound truth about creation itself?
