Scarecrow of Oz

The Scarecrow of Oz, published on July 16, 1915, is the ninth book in L. Frank Baum's Oz series. It follows the adventures of Cap'n Bill and Trot as they journey to Oz and, with the help of the Scarecrow, seek to overthrow the tyrannical King Krewl of Jinxland. This book is notable for being Baum's personal favorite among his works in the Oz franchise.
