Return of Tarzan

Return of Tarzan
Having surrendered Jane Porter to the man she loves, Tarzan drifts through America like a beast caged by its own conscience. The ape man cannot bear civilization's contradictions any longer, so he boards a ship for Europe, seeking his friend Paul d'Arnot and perhaps, some fragment of purpose. But the sea offers no peace. A Russian nobleman and his thuggish companion have targeted the Count and Countess de Coude, their intentions dark and their methods murderous. Tarzan finds himself protecting an innocent woman, battling villains who strike from shadows, and unraveling a conspiracy that culminates in the treacherous French Congo. The jungle has made him patient and cunning; civilization has given him a code. Now both converge as Tarzan hunts the hunters, descends into murderous dens, and proves that even among the polished parasites of European high society, the ape man's claws remain sharper than their lies. This is Tarzan unbound: no longer the curious savage learning English from primers, but a man who knows exactly what he is and what he's capable of.
