On Calvinism

On Calvinism, written by William Hull and first published in 1841, is a theological treatise that critically examines the principles and implications of Calvinism. Hull argues against the perceived dangers of Calvinism to the Anglican Church, advocating for a view of Christianity that emphasizes moral responsibility and a benevolent understanding of God. He warns that Calvinism could lead to spiritual despotism, undermining core Christian values of charity and freedom. The work aims to resonate with churchgoers who prioritize truth over denominational loyalty.
