Leben und Taten des scharfsinnigen Edlen Don Quixote von la Mancha, Band 1
Don Quixote is the story of Alonso Quijano, a gentleman from La Mancha soaddled by reading too many chivalric romances that he renames himself Don Quixote de la Mancha and sets out into the world to revive knighthood. He recruits the earthy, practical Sancho Panza as his squire, and together they stumble through a landscape that seems to transform before their eyes: inns become castles, windmills become giants, and a peasant girl named Aldonza becomes the ethereal Dulcinea del Toboso, lady of his heart. The first volume follows their misadventures as Don Quixate attacks the former and mistakes the latter, always failing, always persisting. But Cervantes weaves something profound into this apparent absurdity. The knight may be mad, yet his坚持理想、敢于行动的勇气却让周围那些所谓的「正常人」相形见绌。这部作品既是对骑士文学的辛辣讽刺,也是对人类梦想本质的深刻探讨, 疯狂与智慧、幻象与真实之间的界限远比我们想象的更加模糊。
