The Merry Five have become the Happy Six, and this time the adventure goes international. When the combined households of the Rowes and Bradstreets plan a grand trip to France, excitement reaches a fever pitch. But before the ship even leaves harbor, trouble brews: Kirke's beloved dog Shot vanishes, and a construction accident at a new well nearly derails everything. Once they finally board for Europe, the misadventures only multiply, from wrong turns down Parisian streets to language mishaps and run-ins with less-than-reputable characters.
