A one-act play written in the early 20th century. This charming comedic work focuses on the newlywed couple, Johan and Klara, as they navigate the nuances of their first night together in their new home, filled with humor and gentle misunderstandings. The play captures the essence of early marital life and the accompanying romantic tensions. The storyline revolves around Johan and Klara's wedding night, where they attempt to enjoy their privacy while being interrupted by their well-meaning servant, Maria. The couple's playful banter reveals their affection for each other alongside their inexperience in marriage, as they grapple with the expectations that come with it.
