Geography and Plays

Geography and Plays
Geography and Plays, published in 1922 by Gertrude Stein, is a collection of her experimental writings known as 'word portraits' or stream-of-consciousness essays. These pieces aim to capture the essence of existence and reflect the influence of Cubism and collage on literature. Despite being described as a work where 'approximately 80,000 words mean nothing at all,' it is regarded as one of Stein's seminal contributions to modernist literature.
