Frauen und ihr Beruf, written by German author and women's rights advocate Luise Büchner and first published in 1855, argues for equal educational opportunities for girls and boys. Büchner discusses the importance of work for women from all social classes and presents her vision for improving women's social and economic status. The book aims to inspire and outline an ideal for women's aspirations in contemporary society. This edition is based on the fourth edition published in 1872.
