El Lindo Don Diego: Comedia

''El Lindo Don Diego: Comedia'' is a comedic play by Agustín Moreto, first published in 1662. The story satirizes vanity and social pretension through the character of Don Diego, who is caught in arranged marriage plans with his cousins, Inés and Leonor, while Don Juan secretly loves Inés. The play features sharp character sketches and clever intrigue, culminating in a series of deceptions that lead to unexpected romantic resolutions. Moreto's work is notable for its witty examination of nobility and courtship in 17th-century Spain.
