Карусель (Carousel) is a collection of humorous short stories by Nadezhda Teffi, published in the early 20th century. Teffi, known for her benevolent and humanitarian tone, combines satire with empathy for her characters, showcasing her unique voice in Russian literature. The stories reflect her background as a caricaturist and satirist, and she was recognized by contemporaries like Ivan Bunin and Maxim Gorky. Teffi was also the sister of Mirra Lokhvitskaya, known as the 'Russian Sappho.'
