Book of Lieh-Tzu
The 'Book of Lieh-Tzu' is an ancient Chinese text attributed to the philosopher Liezi, believed to have been compiled by his disciples. It predates much of the work of Chuang Tzu and presents a unique perspective within Daoist literature. The text is characterized by its genial tone and a sympathetic view towards the elderly, the impoverished, and all living beings, distinguishing it from the more acerbic style of Chuang Tzu. Its philosophical insights and narrative style contribute to its significance in the Daoist tradition.
