Bible (YLT) 22: Song of Solomon
The Song of Solomon, also known as the Song of Songs or Canticles, is a book from the Ketuvim section of the Hebrew Bible and the fifth wisdom book of the Christian Old Testament. Written in an unknown time, it uniquely celebrates sexual love without referencing law or covenant, presenting the voices of two lovers in harmony. Jewish tradition views it as an allegory of God's relationship with Israel, while Christian interpretation often sees it as a metaphor for Christ and the Church. This version is based on Young's Literal Translation.
