Baltimore Catechism, No. 2
The Baltimore Catechism, No. 2 is a foundational text summarizing the principles of the Christian religion and Catholic faith. Written in 1885, it served as the standard catechism for Catholic schools in the United States until the late 1960s, replacing Bellarmine's Small Catechism. This work is notable for being the first catechism specifically designed for Catholics in North America and continues to be used in some educational settings today.
