With Our Army in Palestine

With Our Army in Palestine, published in 1919 by Antony Bluett, is a historical account of the Egyptian Expeditionary Force during World War I. The book details the soldiers' experiences in the campaigns in Egypt and Palestine, highlighting the harsh conditions they faced and the camaraderie that developed among them. Bluett's narrative begins with the soldiers' challenging voyage to Mersa Matruh in December 1915 and continues to explore the realities of war, contrasting the grim experiences of the troops with the romanticized perceptions often held at home.
