Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Volume 02

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a foundational document adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948, in Paris. It consists of 30 articles that outline the fundamental human rights guaranteed to all individuals. This Librivox collection features 42 readings of the UDHR, recorded by 35 volunteers in 39 different languages, commemorating its 60th anniversary and highlighting its status as the most translated document in the world. Together with an earlier collection, it brings the total number of languages represented to 53.
