The Syrian Christ

The Syrian Christ, written by Abraham Mitrie Rihbany in the early 20th century, offers a unique biography of Jesus Christ from an Oriental perspective. Rihbany, a Syrian native, explores the cultural and social contexts of Jesus' life, emphasizing how the customs and values of contemporary Syria illuminate biblical narratives. This work aims to bridge Eastern and Western understandings of spirituality, providing insights that enhance the comprehension of Christ's teachings through the lens of his native culture.
