The Pigmy Woodrat, Neotoma Goldmani, Its Distribution and Systematic Position

The Pigmy Woodrat, Neotoma Goldmani, Its Distribution and Systematic Position is a mid-20th century scientific publication by Dennis G. Rainey. It examines the classification and geographic distribution of the pigmy woodrat, detailing its characteristics, habitat, and range. The work includes comparative anatomical data, emphasizing cranial measurements and the species' relationship to others in the Neotoma genus, particularly Neotoma albigula and Neotoma lepida. Additionally, it provides insights into the species' distribution across various regions in Mexico, enhancing the understanding of its ecological niche and evolutionary classification.
