The movie boys under Uncle Sam : or, Taking pictures for the army
Two adventurous brothers with a film camera find themselves unexpectedly enlisted in Uncle Sam's service. When their amateur movie business catches the attention of Army intelligence, the boys are recruited to document training exercises, capture reconnaissance footage, and ultimately prove that a pair of sharp-eyed teenagers might just see what the generals are missing. What begins as a lark shooting pictures for the local militia becomes a race against enemy agents who want their film footage destroyed. The stakes are personal and national: can the Movie Boys outsmart foreign spies while proving that the eyes of youth are as valuable as any soldier's rifle? A zippy period adventure that captures the early days of cinema colliding with the machinery of war.
