The Man of Galilee

The Man of Galilee, written by Atticus G. Haygood and first published in 1889, is a theological examination of Jesus Christ's historicity and character. Based on lectures delivered at Emory College, Haygood argues for the reality and moral perfection of Jesus, challenging the notion that the gospels' portrayal of him could be mere invention. The book presents a compelling case for Jesus's unique teachings and their profound impact, aiming to deepen readers' understanding of his life within a faith context. It includes a preface by Homer Hailey and Ferrell Jenkins, with a new preface by Dr. Dan Petty.
