The Life of Jesus of Nazareth: A Study

The Life of Jesus of Nazareth: A Study, written by Rush Rhees and published in 1904, is a scholarly examination of Jesus Christ's life as depicted in the Gospels. Rhees offers a non-argumentative analysis that emphasizes the human aspects of Jesus' character and mission within the historical context of Judea during the Roman Empire. The work serves as a reliable guide for readers seeking to understand Jesus beyond traditional doctrinal interpretations, detailing the political landscape and various Jewish sects of the time. This study is notable for its accessible approach to biblical scholarship.
