The Irish Ecclesiastical Record, Volume 1, March 1865

''The Irish Ecclesiastical Record, Volume 1, March 1865'' is a historical periodical focused on the Catholic Church in Ireland, published in the mid-19th century. This volume addresses theological discussions, ecclesiastical history, and the Church's role in promoting biblical knowledge, particularly during the pre-Reformation era. It includes a rebuttal of claims made by a Protestant nobleman regarding the Church's relationship with science and the Bible, and details the succession and contributions of bishops in the Diocese of Down and Connor. The publication serves as a vital resource for understanding the Catholic Church's influence on Irish society and its commitment to scriptural dissemination.
