The History of the Jews

The History of the Jews, written by Gotthard Deutsch and first published in 1910, provides a comprehensive account of Jewish history from ancient times to the early 20th century. It covers significant events such as the Babylonian Captivity and the destruction of the Second Temple, while also detailing the socio-political changes that shaped Jewish life across various regions. The work emphasizes the evolution of Jewish culture, the challenges faced by the community, and the establishment of organizations that supported Jewish welfare and education in the 19th and 20th centuries.
