The Christmas Makers' Club

Three girls. One quiet idea. A Christmas that becomes something neither girl expected. Elsa, Betty, and Alice are bored with school and searching for purpose when they invent the Christmas Makers' Club - a place to craft gifts with their own hands. But the project takes on real meaning when they decide to include the children at a nearby convalescent home, turning holiday tradition into acts of genuine compassion. Each girl brings her own challenges to the group: different family circumstances, different fears, different ways of learning to trust each other. Miss Ruth, a warm adult neighbor, offers guidance without taking over, letting the girls discover what they're capable of together. The book captures something many adult novels forget - that making things for others, especially when it's a little awkward and doesn't come easily, builds bonds stronger than any store-bought present. For readers who love cozy, heartwarming stories about friendship and the quiet power of choosing generosity.
