The Bible, King James Version, Book 27: Daniel

The Book of Daniel, part of the King James Version of the Bible, is a prophetic text likely written during the Babylonian Exile in the 6th century BC. It narrates the experiences of Daniel, a Jewish captive who rises to prominence in Babylon by interpreting dreams and visions that reveal God's plans for Israel and the nations. Notable for its themes of faith, divine sovereignty, and miraculous events, the book includes famous stories such as Daniel in the lions' den and the survival of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace.
