The Bible, Douay-Rheims, Book 07: Judges: The Challoner Revision

The Bible, Douay-Rheims, Book 07: Judges is a historical religious text first published in 1609, recounting the history of Israel during the period of the judges. This book illustrates the themes of faith, obedience, and the consequences of straying from divine commandments, detailing the struggles faced by the Israelites after Joshua's death. It features notable judges like Othoniel and Ehud, and describes the cyclical nature of Israel's faithfulness and moral failures. The text is part of the Douay-Rheims Bible, a significant English translation of the Latin Vulgate, revised by Bishop Richard Challoner in the 18th century.
