The Bible, Douay-Rheims, Book 01: Genesis: The Challoner Revision

The Bible, Douay-Rheims, Book 01: Genesis, first published in 1609, is a religious text that serves as the foundational book of the Old Testament. It details the creation of the world, the origins of humanity, and the early stories of key figures such as Adam, Noah, and Abraham. This version, part of the Douay-Rheims translation, was created to provide an English text for Catholics during the Protestant Reformation, making it significant in the context of religious history and theological development.
