The Animals' Christmas Tree
The Animals' Christmas Tree, written by John P. Peters in 1916, is a whimsical fable that brings together various animals—both wild and domestic—to celebrate Christmas. Each animal contributes a personal decoration to the tree, leading to unexpected chaos when one animal makes an unconventional choice. The story emphasizes themes of community, selflessness, and the joy of giving during the holiday season.
