Susanna
Susanna is an English oratorio composed by Georg Friedrich Händel, first performed on February 10, 1749, at Covent Garden in London. The libretto, attributed to either Newburgh Hamilton or Moses Mendes, is based on the biblical story of Susanna and the Elders from the Book of Daniel. This work is notable for its dramatic narrative and musical composition, showcasing Händel's mastery in the oratorio form.
