Short Poetry Collection 065
Twenty voices, twenty poems, one quiet revolution. This collection gathers public domain verses read by Librivox volunteers, each bringing their own breath and rhythm to work by poets whose words have outlived their authors by centuries. The readings range from confident to trembling, polished to beautifully rough around the edges. What binds them is something harder to quantify: the urgency of someone choosing to speak these words aloud, now, for no reason except that they matter. You'll hear sonnets and free verse, love and loss and the turning of seasons. Some readers are seasoned, others are recording their first piece. Both kinds of gift are here. Best experienced late at night, with a cup cooling by your hand.
