Schöne Aussicht: A Journal of Our Trip Abroad

Schöne Aussicht: A Journal of Our Trip Abroad is a travel journal by Louise Spilker, published in 1901. It chronicles her experiences and reflections during her travels across Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, Paris, London, and Scotland. Spilker provides detailed observations of the cities, cultures, and people she encounters, along with historical insights and biographies of notable figures. The journal begins with her thoughts on crossing the Atlantic, capturing both the beauty and anxiety of sea travel in the early 20th century.
