Satukirja Lapsille: Norjalaisia Kansansatuja

''Satukirja lapsille: Norjalaisia kansansatuja'' by Asbjørnsen, Moe, and Wyyrylinen is a collection of Norwegian folk tales written in the late 19th century. The anthology presents a variety of enchanting stories filled with anthropomorphic characters such as a goat, a pig, a hare, and a cunning fox, each embarking on adventures that reflect moral lessons and the rich tradition of storytelling. The opening of the collection introduces the tale of a goat and a pig who decide to leave their farm to build a life for themselves in the forest after realizing their fate at the hands of their farmer. Along their journey, they gather various animal companions, including a goose and a hare, who contribute to building their home. As they settle into their new life, they encounter dangers, such as a hungry wolf, highlighting themes of friendship, survival, and the importance of unity against common threats. This beginning sets the stage for a series of imaginative tales that promise to entertain and impart wisdom through folklore.
