Red Harvest

Step into Personville, a town so rotten its residents call it "Poisonville," with the Continental Op, a nameless, hard-drinking detective. He's arrived on a summons from a newspaper publisher, only to find the man murdered. What begins as a simple investigation quickly spirals into a labyrinthine descent into the town's putrid core, where every power broker, every lawman, and every femme fatale is entangled in a web of corruption, violence, and deceit. The Op, with his laconic wit and brutal efficiency, must navigate this moral wasteland, often blurring the lines between justice and the very criminality he seeks to expose.
