Quatrain
Quatrain is a collection of Persian quatrains (rubaiyat) by the poet Omar Khayyám, notable for being the first known English translation of his work. The translation appeared in 1771 in Sir William Jones's 'A Grammar of the Persian Language.' This work highlights Khayyám's philosophical musings on life, love, and the nature of existence, making it a significant contribution to both Persian literature and English poetry.
