Prisons & Prisoners: Some Personal Experiences

Prisons & Prisoners: Some Personal Experiences is a memoir by Constance, Lady Lytton, published in 1914. The book chronicles Lytton's experiences as a suffragette and her encounters with the prison system while advocating for women's rights. It highlights the injustices faced by women in prison and reflects on her transformation from an average woman to an activist after inheriting money and seeking social reform. Lytton's narrative provides insight into the broader implications of the women's suffrage movement and the harsh realities of being a political prisoner in early 20th century Britain.
