Philip Massinger

Published in 1920, Alfred Hamilton Cruickshank's 'Philip Massinger' is a scholarly examination of the life and works of the English playwright Philip Massinger (1583-1640), a contemporary of Shakespeare. The book provides a comprehensive analysis of Massinger's contributions to drama, highlighting his unique stylistic and thematic elements while comparing him to his more famous peers.
