Our Katie

In a cramped Irish cottage, a young girl named Katie tends to her younger siblings, brings bread home despite her own hunger, and walks miles to teach children about love. This Victorian moral tale doesn't flinch from poverty or grief. Katie's light is made more radiant by the darkness she endures. When tragedy strikes and her brief life ends in suffering, her faith never wavers, and her legacy transforms everyone she touched. Written to inspire virtue in young readers, this is the kind of story that was meant to be read aloud around a hearth, passed hand to hand, wept over, and remembered.
