North American Jumping Mice (genus Zapus)

Published in the mid-20th century, 'North American Jumping Mice (genus Zapus)' by Philip H. Krutzsch is a scientific study focused on the taxonomy, geographic distribution, and evolutionary history of North American jumping mice. The work addresses the lack of comprehensive taxonomic research since the late 19th century, documenting variations and relationships among species and subspecies within the genus. It includes research methods and collaboration acknowledgments, based on extensive specimen collection across northern North America, providing valuable insights into the ecological significance of these rodents.
