Naughty Puppies

Two puppies. One farm. Endless trouble. Tiny the brown puppy is clever and full of schemes; Toodles the white puppy is sweet but easily led. Together they terrorize the farmyard, frightening turkeys, sneaking milk, and causing exactly the kind of chaos that makes children giggle and parents sigh. Each escapade tumbles toward comedic disaster, and each disaster ends with a gentle lesson from their father. The naughtiness is never cruel, just irrestible - the kind of trouble you'd get into if you were small, curious, and had four fluffy paws. Written in the whimsical style of late Victorian children's literature, this is a book about the joy of mischief and the softness of learning, wrapped in rhythm and repetition that makes it perfect for reading aloud. It endures because every child understands the temptation of forbidden things, and every adult remembers being young enough to find the world endlessly fascinating, especially when they were definitely not supposed to.
