Naughty Miss Bunny: A Story for Little Children

Meet Bunny, a six-year-old whirlwind of mischief whose given name is Ethel Dashwood. When her family relocates to a beautiful house in Scarborough, Bunny sees opportunity: finally some time alone, free from her governess's watchful eye. But freedom is short-lived. Miss Kerr arrives with kind intentions and gentle discipline, and Bunny is absolutely determined to resist her at every turn. From climbing trees to plotting tricks on the household servants, Bunny's spoiled nature leads her into one escapade after another. Yet beneath the chaos lies something dear: a child navigating the tricky passage from unruliness to understanding, guided by a household that meets her mischief with patience rather than punishment. Written in 1883, this Victorian children's tale captures the affectionate chaos of childhood with warmth and wit, perfect for readers who enjoy gentle glimpses of historical children's literature and the timeless comedy of small rebellions.
