My .75: Reminiscences of a Gunner of a .75m/m Battery in 1914 is a memoir by Paul Lintier, first published in 1916. The book offers a first-hand account of Lintier's experiences as a young artilleryman during the early days of World War I, detailing the mobilization, camaraderie, and emotional turmoil faced by soldiers. Notably, it captures the realities of war with vivid descriptions and self-analysis, making it one of the finest documents of its kind. Lintier's narrative includes significant battles, such as the action at Virton, and his reflections on the chaos and bravery of combat before he was wounded in action.
