Little Colonel's Hero

Published in 1910, 'Little Colonel's Hero' is the sixth book in Annie Fellows Johnston's 'Little Colonel Series'. The story follows Lloyd, who receives a surprise trip to Europe for her twelfth birthday. In Geneva, she befriends an old Prussian major and his St. Bernard dog, Hero, leading to various adventures that teach her about selfless duty. This volume also features a full-cast play with singing in Chapter 13.
