Letter to Her Husband
A Letter to Her Husband (Absent upon Public Employment) is a poem by Anne Bradstreet, written in the 17th century. In this work, Bradstreet expresses her deep feelings of love and longing for her husband during his absence due to public duties. Notable for being one of the earliest examples of American women's poetry, it reflects the personal and emotional struggles of a woman in a male-dominated society.
