The plate bound facing p. 96 (book 1) in c. 1 and as the second plate following p. 80 in c. 2 are different versions; the former was apparently copied from the latter and has an additional image printed beneath from a separate plate Facing p. 62 (book 2) in Getty c. 1 is folded engraving of the Farnese Hercules by Giovanni dei Francheschi after Salvatore dei Francheschi. It is lacking in c. 2 and may not constitute part of the work as issued because it does not bear a page number indicating binding location as do other plates; the right margin is trimmed away. Facing p. 181 (book 1) in c. 2 is folded etching, lacking in c. 2 and apparently likewise not part of work as issued (legend: Vetus sigillum ex jaspide apud D. Franciscum Ficoronum...
