Joy in Service; Forgetting, and Pressing Onward; Until the Day Dawn

Written in the early 20th century, 'Joy in Service; Forgetting, and Pressing Onward; Until the Day Dawn' by George Tybout Purves is a theological exploration of the spiritual life and the nature of service to God. The book is divided into three sections that discuss finding joy in serving others, the importance of forgetting past grievances, and the hope offered by faith. Purves uses biblical references and the example of Jesus Christ to emphasize the fulfillment that comes from love and obedience to God, encouraging readers to focus on their spiritual mission and future aspirations.
