Jean Craig Finds Romance
Jean Craig has always known what she wants: a life as an artist. But when her family uproots to Woodhow, Connecticut, she must rebuild from nothing. She resumes her art lessons and remembers who she was before life got in the way. Then Ralph McRae walks in, and suddenly Jean cannot think in straight lines anymore. She is caught between the woman she wants to become and the man who makes her question everything she thought she needed. While Jean wrestles with her heart in Connecticut, her sister Kit is off living recklessly out West, having the kind of adventures Jean only paints about. This is a story about the impossible calculus of choice: what we sacrifice, what we gain, and whether the roads we don't take haunt us forever.
