ごん狐 (Gon gitsune) is a children's story written by Nankichi Niimi in 1932, first published in the magazine 'Akai Tori' when the author was just 18. The tale follows Gon, a lonely fox who longs for connection with a boy named Hyoju, but ultimately faces a tragic fate.
