God's Plan with Men

This early 20th-century treatise confronts readers with an urgent question: what does God's justice actually demand? T. T. Martin argues that too many believers harbor comfortable misunderstandings about sin, punishment, and salvation, and he aims to correct them. The book systematically examines the nature of transgression against an infinitely holy God, the reality of divine judgment, and the extraordinary provision made through Christ's atonement. Martin writes for both the faithful who want deeper understanding and the skeptic demanding intellectual honesty about spiritual claims. What emerges is not a gentle meditation but a vigorous defense of orthodox Christian teaching on hell, election, and the seriousness of eternal stakes. The author's passion is unmistakable; he writes as a man convinced that misunderstandings here carry eternal consequences. For readers interested in vintage evangelical theology, the fundamental debates that shaped American Protestantism, or the intellectual foundations of faith, this work offers a window into how an earlier generation wrestled with Christianity's hardest propositions.
