Floating Fancies among the Weird and the Occult

Floating Fancies among the Weird and the Occult is a collection of short stories by Clara H. Holmes, written in the late 19th century. The tales delve into themes of curiosity, the supernatural, and the consequences of seeking knowledge, beginning with the story of Nordhung Nordjansen, a young man torn between his desire for understanding and his father's warnings. This work is notable for its exploration of paranormal fiction during a time when such ideas were often dismissed as madness or sorcery.
